Snapshot of me

Dogs have always been part of my life. My mother bred Labradors and later I worked in America with another breeder, which included training and competing with dogs.

Photography came about thanks to my Grandmother, who gave me my first camera aged eight, which sparked my interest and led eventually to me becoming a professional photographer.  I achieved my Associateship of The Royal Photographic Society and have recieved many competition awards.

Photographing dogs and indeed many other pets, as well as wildlife, has helped me to develop a keen eye for character and personality. I think this has helped me to bring out the best when capturing ‘that moment’.

I was lucky enough to be interviewed by Jo Plumridge, She Snaps, and a fuller story of my life and qualifications can be found here.
